We are delighted that you have chosen to stay with us at the Heritage House. To avoid misunderstandings and to assure that all guests have a pleasant stay, these Policies are necessary.
DAILY RATE PER ROOM
Standard Rates PER NIGHT & TAXES: Courtroom - $135 double occupancy, Classroom - $150 double occupancy; $15 each up to 2 additional persons, per night, Route 66 Room - $20 each up to 2 persons with booking of one of the other rooms. Maximum Daily Rate - $350. Occupants of the Route 66 Room must share the bathroom with the Guest Room reserved. All rates include room, breakfast, parking, WI-FI access, use of living room & dining room, and complimentary Refreshment Center. All charges and services are subject to the addition of applicable state and local taxes.
Check-Out is 10AM local time and Check-In is 4PM local time. Other times may be arranged. Complimentary luggage storage may be arranged. A fee of $75 will be assessed at checkout for a lost, unreturned or damaged key. Persons holding over without approval will be charged the Maximum Daily Rate.
Served 7:30-8:30 AM in the dining room. Other times may be arranged (discuss with us at check-in). Requests and inquiries about food allergies and dietary restrictions must be made at the time of reservation. Breakfast visitors are welcomed if space allows and the Registered Guest tells us by 8PM the evening before. Cost: $8.50 per visitor.
RESERVATION & CANCELLATION POLICY
Must be 21 years or older. Reservations require a $50 deposit per Room. Your deposit is your commitment to us that you are reserving this room and our commitment to you that your room will be ready and waiting for you. Consequently, we require that you call us at least 48 hours ahead of your check-in date to change or cancel your reservation. As long as we receive this notice, your deposit will be refunded. A cancellation without the 48 hour notice will make the deposit non-refundable.
Complimentary chilled soft drinks, seasonal fruit, and light snacks are available to guests 24x7 in the dining room. Products containing peanuts or other food allergens may be present. Please do not take food or drink to guest rooms.
PETS & CHILDREN
Unfortunately, Heritage House is not able to host pets. However there are several boarding facilities in the area. Well-behaved children 12 and older are welcome if accompanied by an adult at all times. Heritage House provides no babysitting service.
NO DISABILITY ACCESS
The ambience of Heritage House is its location within a historic residence. All guest rooms are on the second floor. We regret that it is not ADA accessible. We can recommend nearby ADA accessible hotels.
NO SMOKING/NO FLAME
For safety and health, Heritage House is smoke free (includes both traditional tobacco burning and e-cigarettes). Open flames are NOT allowed, which means candles, incense, matches, and any other flame or smoke producing device. Smoking or open flame will result in a Cleaning fee (see, Disruptions, below) and you’ll be asked to leave.
For the health and safety of guests and residents, Heritage House is a non-alcohol and drug-free inn, and this includes marijuana. Possession of illicit drugs or consumption of alcohol is a Disruption, see below. Thank you for respecting this standard.
Safe and lawful possession of firearms is allowed. Firearms MUST be safely secured in your room or vehicle. NO OPEN CARRY; either concealed carry or use of a closed gun case/bag is required for all guns. Accidental or intentional discharge is a serious Disruption and has consequences, see below.
Flowers, limo service, special event tickets, fax, etc. may be procured on your behalf by special arrangement with management. Actual cost plus 18% convenience fee will be assessed to your credit card.
Courtesy transportation may be available to/from Amarillo Rick Husband International Airport (AMA) and Tradewind Field (TDW). Inquire at booking for availability.
Heritage Hosue is located at the southern edge of downtown Amarillo. It is a pleasant and generally safe neighborhood, but crime can occur. Do not leave valuables, electronics, or tempting items visible in your vehicle. Lock your car. Lock your room. Lock the front door upon entering and leaving.
LOST & FOUND
Heritage House will make reasonable attempt to contact a Registered Guest regarding lost and found items. Guest is responsible for arranging shipping or C.O.D postage for the return of an item. After 30 days, unclaimed lost or mislaid items become the property of Heritage House.
DAMAGES OR LOSS
Registered Guest is liable for all damages/loss to Guest room and common areas caused by Guest, other members of the Guest’s party, or their invited visitor. Normal wear excluded. Heritage House is not responsible for loss of valuables unless otherwise provided by law.
DISRUPTIONS & POLICY VIOLATIONS
Heritage House is both a private residence and public guest rooms/ common areas. Please be mindful of voices and other noise between 11PM to 6AM. Persons who make unreasonable noise, engage in or allow unruly behavior or disruption, or is intoxicated, or violates other Heritage House Policy may be asked to leave the premises, regardless of the hour. Registered Guests are responsible for the conduct of other members of the party and any visitors. If a Registered Guest is asked to leave, then there is no refund for that night’s stay and, all subsequent nights on that reservation will be canceled without penalty. If a guest is allowed to remain in lieu of arrest or despite the accidental discharge of a firearm or having an open flame, then the Registered Guest will be assessed the Maximum Daily Room Rate for that night’s stay, all remaining nights on the reservation cancelled, and the cost of damages assessed and a Cleaning fee of $250 assessed to their credit card.
CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION & DATA PROTECTION
By using a credit card to reserve or pay for a room you authorize Heritage House to charge and collect all room rates, taxes, fees, damages, and other charges incurred during your stay plus any damages discovered after you depart. We gather and use your information only for the purposes of your stay at Heritage House. We will also use your information to contact you about Heritage House promotions, unless you opt out of such communications. Your information is kept secure and not retained beyond the period of business necessity. Heritage House does not share or sell your information to anyone. (Information may be shared with law enforcement or emergency responders for their official business.). Credit card processing services are provided to Heritage House by Quickbook Payment (Intuit).
